Today marks one year since Moussa Tchangari, Secretary General of the association Alternative Espaces Citoyens Niger (AEC) – a member of the Migreurop network – was arrested at his home upon returning from an international trip. On December 3, 2025, it will be 12 months or 365 days since Moussa Tchangari, human rights defender and Secretary General (SG) of the association Alternative Espaces Citoyens (AEC), was arbitrarily detained by the Nigerien authorities. AEC Niger is organizing a media campaign and a morning of protest and solidarity in support of the detainee.
