Commémoraction 2026 : a map of mobilizations

To mark Commemoraction date on February 6, 2026, Migreurop, in partnership with the transnational Commemoraction network, has produced a map of various mobilizations at international scale.

This year, more than 75 initiatives were identified as part of the transnational campaign to commemorate those who have died or gone missing at the borders and to denounce the deadly system of migration control.

The Commemoraction movement, which brings together migrants, activists, citizens, and families of the disappeared, is growing year by year and gaining momentum, thanks to the unwavering mobilization of civil society to demand truth and justice for all victims of border violence.
