Our funding
Our sources of funding are divided into three main categories:
- Private foundations account for 82% of Migreurop’s budget in 2025:
- Public funds account for 6% of Migreurop’s budget: the Fund for the Development of Associative Life(FDVA) for volunteer training and the Fonjep, which finances actions in civic education and international solidarity.
- Own funds account for 10% of Migreurop’s budget (2025 figures) and consist mainly of membership fees and donations (monthly or one-off).
Migreurop works on the analysis of migration policies and on strengthening synergies between civil society actors, an area of work that is often less funded than direct operational support to exiled people. This positioning makes access to funding more difficult, in a context where resources dedicated to migration issues are increasingly limited — even more so for a transnational and atypical network such as ours.
This is why own funds are essential to Migreurop’s sustainability and independence. More than ever, your support is crucial to enable us to continue defending the rights of exiled people, strengthening citizen mobilisations and challenging current security-driven and repressive migration policies.
In France, your donation is tax-deductible at a rate of 66%.
