A Global Day of Struggle against the regime of death at our borders and to demand truth, justice and reparations for migration victims and their families
We are relatives and friends of people who died, have gone missing and/or are victims of enforced disappearances along the land or sea borders of Europe, Africa and America.
We are people who survived an attempt to cross borders in search of a better future. We are solidary citizens who help migrants during their journeys by providing medical aid, food and clothing and by supporting them in dangerous situations so that their journeys can end safely.

On December 9, 2022, Migreurop organised a webinar on criminalisation of solidarity with a focus on migrants in solidarity. While the issue of the crime of solidarity is now increasingly highlighted within Euro-African civil societies, little is said about the criminalisation of migrants in solidarity with their own cause, yet prosecuted for much more serious offences and sentenced to much heavier prison terms.

On 28 September 2022, the 3.5 year anniversary of the arrival of the El Hiblu 1 in Malta, Migreurop joins the "Free the El Hiblu 3" campaign and co-signs the open letter addressed to Attorney General Victoria Buttigieg to request that the Maltese authorities drop all charges against Abdalla, Amara and Kader.
