On February 6th, 2014, more than 200 people from the Moroccan coast tried to swim at Tarajal beach in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. On 18 December, we will demonstrate again globally on International Migrants Day.

Public webinar organised by Migreurop

On December 9, 2022, Migreurop organised a webinar on criminalisation of solidarity with a focus on migrants in solidarity. While the issue of the crime of solidarity is now increasingly highlighted within Euro-African civil societies, little is said about the criminalisation of migrants in solidarity with their own cause, yet prosecuted for much more serious offences and sentenced to much heavier prison terms.

Collective action: open letter to Attorney General Victoria Buttigieg

On 28 September 2022, the 3.5 year anniversary of the arrival of the El Hiblu 1 in Malta, Migreurop joins the "Free the El Hiblu 3" campaign and co-signs the open letter addressed to Attorney General Victoria Buttigieg to request that the Maltese authorities drop all charges against Abdalla, Amara and Kader.

For seven nights and eight days now, refugees and asylum seekers have been demonstrating in front of the offices of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Zarzis and Medenine, in the south of Tunisia. As more and more of them are being expelled from the accommodation centers, they have started to denounce their abandonment by the UN agency, which is supposed to provide protection.
